Collagen loss occurs at a rate of 1% per year after the age of 30, leading to facial volume loss. aesPlla® combats this depletion through the bio-stimulation of collagen regeneration for fast and effective rejuvenation. PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) stimulates the body's own collagen regeneration, offering softer more natural-looking and longer-lasting results than traditional hyaluronic acid dermal fillers. A long-term rejuvenation solution, treatment results are gradual and are enhanced over time - the bio-stimulatory filler harmonises with the skin’s natural collagen production to create a fresher and smoother appearance.
The treatment is ideal for women and men aged 30+ who are concerned with skin ageing, laxity and areas prone to volume loss, such as the cheeks, temples, nasolabial and marionette lines.
Initial results will begin to show around four weeks post-treatment, lasting for up to 3 years - naturally biodegrading within the skin over time.
Some discomfort is to be expected - a topical anaesthetic cream can be applied prior to treatment to numb the skin.
